Visual Themes & Breathing Guide
Each theme provides a unique visual and atmospheric experience for your meditation. Select one that matches your intention.
- Breathing Guide: The pulsating circle in the center of the screen is a visual guide for your breath. You can adjust its rhythm in the Theme panel.
- Tone Streamers: Enable this for a beautiful "trail" effect on moving audio visuals, enhancing immersion.
- Optimal Use: Match the theme to your mood. Use 'Cosmic Void' for spaciousness, 'Forest Whispers' for grounding, or 'Ocean Depths' for a feeling of flow. Synchronize your breath with the guide to calm your nervous system.
Audio Controls
The audio panel is a powerful tool for soundscaping. You can layer generated tones, presets, and your own files.
- Presets: Instantly load therapeutic Solfeggio frequencies. Each preset creates three harmonically related tones in the "Custom" tab.
- Custom Tones: Create your own tones. Use the X, Y, and Z sliders to position the sound in 3D space around you (requires headphones for best effect). A visual orb will appear, corresponding to the tone's position.
- Spin: The "Spin" tab allows you to automatically move all active custom tones along a pre-defined 2D or 3D path, creating a dynamic, immersive soundscape.
- Files: Layer procedural sounds (like rain) with your own uploaded audio files for a rich, complex soundscape.
- Optimal Use: Use the "Presets" to target a specific emotional or spiritual state. Use the "Custom" tab to experiment with 3D audio for deep immersion. Use "Spin" to create a sense of movement and flow. Layer a custom tone with a "File" soundscape for a complete experience.
EMDR Tool
The Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) tool is designed to assist in processing traumatic memories and reducing emotional distress.
- How it works: A moving orb guides your eyes from side to side, engaging both hemispheres of the brain.
- Controls: Adjust the speed, size, and color to your comfort. "Auto-Scaling" makes the orb grow larger at the edges for a more pronounced effect.
- Optimal Use: While holding a distressing memory or feeling in mind, follow the orb with your eyes without moving your head. Let any thoughts or feelings come and go without judgment. Use in a quiet, safe environment. It's recommended to consult with a trained EMDR therapist.
ACRN Tinnitus Tool
Acoustic Coordinated Reset Neuromodulation (ACRN) is a therapy designed to reduce the symptoms of tinnitus by disrupting pathological brain synchrony.
- Find Your Frequency: Play the "Test Tone" and adjust the slider until the tone's pitch matches your tinnitus.
- Enable Algorithm: Once your frequency is matched, stop the test tone and enable the ACRN algorithm. This will play four tones, two above and two below your target frequency.
- Volume: Adjust the ACRN volume to a level that is audible but not intrusive.
- Optimal Use: Listen to the ACRN tones for a sustained period each day. The goal is not to mask the tinnitus with volume, but to allow the specific frequencies to retrain the brain's auditory processing over time. Consistency is key.
Timer & Alerts
Structure your meditation sessions with a customizable timer and gentle audio cues.
- Duration: Set your total meditation time in minutes.
- End Alarm: Choose a sound to signify the end of your session.
- Interval Gongs: Receive a gentle gong sound at regular intervals to bring your awareness back to the present moment.
- Optimal Use: For mindfulness practice, use the interval gongs to gently pull your focus back from wandering thoughts. For deep relaxation, set a duration with a subtle chime at the end to gently bring you back.
AI Assistant
Your personal meditation guide, powered by Gemini. It can provide context-aware suggestions and encouragement.
- Contextual Guidance: The AI knows which theme you have selected and can offer relevant advice.
- Quick Replies: Use the suggested prompts for common requests like breathing exercises or stress reduction techniques.
- Chat: Ask anything related to your practice. For example, "How can I focus better?" or "Guide me through a body scan."
- Optimal Use: Use the AI at the beginning of a session to set an intention or ask for guidance. If you feel stuck or distracted during a session, open the panel and ask for help.
